Williamson County Fair

Since we have had a break from the 90 degree heat, we ventured out as a family to the Williamson County Fair. We had so much fun! I am very impressed with the facilities, having an air-conditioned arena to cool off if needed. We took the girls through an interactive "farm life" exhibit. They got to plant corn, feed pretend chickens, collect pretend eggs, on through selling their pretend vegetables at a pretend farmer's market and finishing with spending their earnings at a pretend store where they got to select a real treat (ice cream sandwich, chocolate milk or cookies). Even Phoebe had a good time. Molly ran from station to station trying everthing out. After visiting the (live) animals, Molly played a couple of games, we got some food, and Molly rode several rides. She loved it! We are already looking foward to next year when (maybe) she will be tall enough to ride some more rides!

Molly goes to school!

Molly started attending Montessori School of Franklin this past Monday. This week is phase-in week: she attended Monday, Tuesday and will attend Friday. Then starting next week, she will go all week. She is a 1/2 day gal. I drop her off at 8:30 and pick her up at 11:45. So far, she loves it. She especially loves her teacher Mr. Mark. Her second and third famorite things are painting and the playground. I thin she really loves it, and I am so happy for her.

4th of July

We spent the 4th of July with Bryan, Pam, Rachel and Abby. What a fireworks extravaganza!!! I didn't time it, but I know the fireworks outlasted some neighboring cities' firework shows. What a nice evening. Molly made a new friend, and they were so precious. When they finally began to wind down, they sat on the couch watching Nemo, snacking on goldfish crackers. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Rachel and Abby helped keep Phoebe and Molly entertained throughout the weekend. What good cousins they are!

Welcome to our house

Okay, so this is my first attempt at blogging. I am SO behind the times. I wanted to create this for our friends and family to keep up with events from our family. I hope to keep this updated and that you find it entertaining. Take care!
